A Little About Us...

Hi, we’re Tim and Becky.

We’re outdoor enthusiasts who love adventure. We love to travel and meet new people and strive to live life to the fullest.

Not too long ago, our lives looked completely different.

We were raising two incredible daughters and filling our days with gymnastics meets, dance recitals, bike rides, and hikes, while building a global business, developing our skills, and mentoring entrepreneurs.

Life was full. We worked hard, and played harder.

We’ve always been intentional about growth—constantly looking for ways to become better, stronger, and more equipped for life.

In 2018, we attended a conference in Las Vegas that introduced us to a message—and a method—that shifted everything.

We made a bold decision to invest deeply in our development, spending hundreds of hours becoming certified in a powerful, behavior-based process rooted in over 35 years of hands-on experience and research.

It wasn’t mindset theory or surface-level motivation. It was a practical, proven set of tools designed to help people think clearly under pressure, break stuck patterns, and move forward—even in emotionally charged or high-stakes situations.

We didn’t do it just to grow a business—we did it to live differently.

We wanted to show our daughters what it looked like to lead with integrity, take ownership of your thoughts and choices, and create a life that aligned with your values.

The skills changed everything: how we communicated, handled stress, and connected as a couple and as a family.

They helped us show up as better partners, more present parents, and stronger individuals.

And yes—our business grew too.

In addition to our coaching programs Becky was also contracted as a mentor for an elite educational marketing company.

She continues to help high-performing entrepreneurs hit their goals, gain traction, and break through the mental and emotional ceilings that hold them back.

Life felt aligned and full of momentum. We were thriving—at home, in business, and as a family.

We never imagined how much things would change… or how the skills we were developing back then would one day become our lifeline—and ultimately, our mission.

We’ve always been intentional about growth, constantly looking for ways to become better, stronger, and more equipped for life.

In 2018, we attended a conference in Las Vegas where we first encountered Functional Emotional Resilience, a behavior-based methodology that shifted everything. We invested deeply in training, completing certification in 2019 with the intent to teach high-performers how to operate under pressure in business contexts.

This methodology was developed and refined over more than four decades through life-skills and behavioral training programs, and demonstrates an approximately 80% success rate based on participants' ability to apply skills, build functional capacity, and operate more effectively under emotional load.

The skills we were teaching in business would soon prove transferable in ways we never imagined.

The Unexpected...

On May 11th, 2020, the day after Mother’s Day. Everything changed.

In an instant, we went from raising our two young daughters and building a life we loved… to facing the unimaginable.

We lost both of our sweet girls in a tragic accident.

Everything we had planned for, worked for, and envisioned for our family’s future was gone in a moment.

The skills we had been teaching for business pressure suddenly became the foundation we leaned into more deeply than ever before.

This time, we weren't applying them to executive stress or entrepreneurial overwhelm. We were using them to face the kind of grief and emotional pain that doesn't just break you, it shatters everything you thought you knew about life and its purpose.

The methodology we'd been teaching for business proved equally effective for catastrophic grief. That's when we discovered: Functional Emotional Resilience works under ANY emotional load.

We began applying what we had learned. Step by step. To rebuild something entirely new.

And people began to notice.

They’d ask, “How are you even functioning?” or “How are you doing this?”

It wasn’t just about what we were doing, but the strength and speed with which it seemed we were moving through something that should have leveled us.

The answer? It wasn’t time. And it definitely wasn’t avoidance.

It was choosing, every day, to apply what we knew with deeper intention than ever before.

Because healing isn’t passive; it’s a process. And when you know how to position yourself for it, recovery can come faster and more fully than most people believe is possible.

Becky captured the raw, unfiltered truth of the first year after our loss in her book, Swept Away: A True Story of Grief & Acceptance. Written to share what it really feels like to survive the unthinkable and how, even in the darkest places... light is still possible.

Swept Away

A True Story Of Grief & Acceptance

In this powerful true story you will get a deeply personal look inside the first year after a loss.

It's pages illustrate what is possible if you choose to take an active approach to healing.

It is an honest and heartbreakingly beautiful journey through the turmoil and triumph that comes from rebuilding a life torn apart.

NOW...

We’ve taken the unthinkable and used it to help bring light, hope, and real tools to those under emotional load.

We’re honored to share our story on podcasts and stages worldwide, not to spotlight our pain but to shine a light on what’s possible when you have functional tools.

By speaking openly, we voice the hard truths so often left unspoken and show that there is a way forward even in the darkest, most disorienting moments.

We teach Functional Emotional Resilience to individuals under emotional load, including licensed mental health professionals who found their traditional training didn't prepare them for acute personal crises.

Whether business pressure, caregiving exhaustion, anticipatory grief, or acute loss, this methodology works because it's designed for function, not feeling better first.

This behavior-based approach helps people develop lasting emotional resilience without months of traditional therapy. It's strategic, personalized, high-impact inner work designed for people who need skills that work in the moment, not just in the therapist's office.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck and ready to explore a different way forward, you’re in the right place.

We’d love to hear how we can best support you!
